If you click on the div tags it shows the beginning/end tags highlighted, which is pretty neat.

Yup, can be used for html, php, css -- etc. It also shows a nice file list in the side navigation. If you hit the execute button, it opens up the local file in your browser if it's just an html site. That's if the folder the files are in has a normal title. Sometimes I put dates in my files like mysitename.com.3.28.310, and it doesn't like that too much.

I also got some cool resource links for adding things on to gedit, but I haven't tried them yet. I've basically just added some of the default preferences. Hey, I just noticed that there's a color picker add on as well. Neat, will have to try that. Looks like gedit will support file browsing too and all the other jazz too!

I use gedit all the time, for everything ascii. That, or vim. Sometimes I just cat > myweirdfilename << EOF !

That is, when I can remember what the heck I turned on the computer for.....
